It’s such a joy to capture event photography in Atlanta. I’ve always felt that it’s very important to give back to our community and the Georgia SPCA is definitely an organization that I’m proud to support! I’ve been an avid animal lover since before I spoke my very first word [which happened to be “Duddy” — Dusty was our 75 pound golden retriever and he was my very first friend and animal companion]. Any opportunity I get to contribute to the well-being of animals is one I’ll happily take!
This is the second year in a row that I’ve had the privilege of being the official event photographer for the annual “You Ain’t Nothin’ but a Pound Dog” Benefit Bash event at the Gwinnett Center in GA. This event is held every year to raise funds for the Georgia SPCA. It’s always a blast to attend and mix and mingle with other animal advocates! This year’s event had a Viva Las Vegas theme & was complete with black jack & roulette tables! The fabulous Cliff E made an appearance as Elvis, Pam Johnson-Bennett (author of several notable books about cats) was in attendance and autographing her books and Victoria Stilwell from “It’s Me or the Dog” was a keynote speaker!

Such fun…and all for a GREAT cause! I am so glad that the Georgia SPCA selected me for their Atlanta event photography and I can’t wait to photograph the annual GA SPCA Benefit Bash again next year!
